Here is how you can help:
1. Most importantly we need your prayers. Prayers for the staff for wisdom and strength, prayers for the boys for heart changes and healing and prayers that every month all of our needs would be met.
2. Spread the word! Most people don’t know that currently there are thousands of street kids in Uganda and maybe as many as 100 million world wide. Share with your friends how LOT 2545 is working to change that in Uganda and encourage them to get involved also.
3. Sponsor a boy in the home. Check out the Sponsorship tab and see which boys are still in need of a sponsor. Your monthly gift of $50 will allow us to care for a boy in the home and ensure that he never has to spend another night on the streets. EVER!
4. Give a one time or monthly gift to be used where it is needed. Make checks payable to: LOT 2545 and mail them to 190 Clover Lane, Medford, Oregon 97501 or donate online via the PayPal button on the left.
5. Sell jewelry for us or host a jewelry party. The jewelry is made by women in Uganda and helps them support their families. The women are paid above market value per piece of jewelry they make. This allows them to put food on the table, send their children to school, and plan for the future. The profits are used to support the boys’ home and other LOT 2545 programs.
6. Purchase coffee. Just Love Coffee is a coffee company that believes in giving back. They offer non profits and people adopting a way to fundraise by selling coffee. For every item purchased from our “store” we receive a percentage of the profits. Check out the site, make a purchase and share it with friends!
7. Get your church or small group involved. Invite Amanda Jones, founder of LOT 2545, to speak when she is in the US. We are currently still seeking churches and small groups that would want to make a commitment to partner with us to give the boys a hope and a future!
